A Premier Mind/Body Cancer Program
There is no right way to get well. But, we do have lots of information about what works for many people.
Cancer survivors, in general, give an empowered meaning to how they evaluate being diagnosed with cancer: for example, instead of viewing it as the worst thing that has ever happened to them... the cancer survivors make consistent efforts to view having cancer as an opportunity for learning. Cancer survivors take small consistent actions toward the result they desire. They create reference that they are getting well... so that they build a stronger belief in themselves as being cancer survivors!
Janet Hranicky, Ph. D. and Michael Galitzer, M.D. have developed an intensive patient program for people with cancer. They have combined the latest advances both from the fields of psychoneuroimmunology and bioenergetic medicine to create this powerful and innovative model. The program has been designed to empower individuals with cancer to successfully maximize their recovery potential and is ideal for use in conjunction with standard medical treatment. The purpose of this approach is to help people with cancer complement their existing therapies by empowering them to make the necessary emotional and energetic shifts to regain their health.
Carl Simonton M.D. and Janet Hranicky, Ph. D. have led the longest running Mind/Body Intervention Program for Cancer in the world. Dr. Simonton and Dr. Hranicky are two of the few experts in the world to understand and clinically demonstrate the link between emotional factors and cancer. This program is the result of more than 25 years of education, research, and clinical experience in the field of psychoneuroimmunology and cancer, during which time she has personally worked with thousands of cancer patients.
The Hranicky Psycho-Oncology Program's approach consists of three parts:
- Understanding the effects of chronic emotional and physical stress on the development of cancer from the viewponts of psychoneuroimmunology and bioenergetic medicine.
- Enhancing the immune and neuroendocrine systems, and expanding "the range of what is possible" through changing the mental-emotional patterns that precede the development of cancer and through utilizing a number of bioenergetic therapies to stimulate the body's own self-healing power.
- Developing successful strategies for recovery and staying well by designing a compelling destiny with an individualized one-year health plan.
